Simulated Horizons is formed by a series of sea pictures and another series of sky pictures: in the set of images of the top row, all the sea pictures are identical, but the sky pictures are different; in the group forming the second row of photos, all the sky pictures are the same, while the sea pictures vary.
The horizon line is formed by the encounter between sky and sea photos: it is combinations between these images (of sky and sea) that constitute horizon simulations.
