Unfolded geographies

Unfolded geographies form a series of drawings where the pictures reveal geographical shapes unfolded and multiplied in various perspectives: sometimes, the continents become shadows that cover up and expand the territories; other times, the continents contract, overlapping multiple parts of the maps.

These drawings are produced from modular forms, thus retaining some precision concerning the original cartographies. However, the pictures formed from these unfolded parts are of the order of expanding territories, domination, erasure, and rewriting the geography we learn.
